Week 5 Reflection: Pictures Say More Than Words

What do these individuals have in common? Little at first glance. They are different in age, ethnicity and gender just to name a few distinguishable features. They are very different people with very different personalities. For one night though, they were all the same. They were a part of the Pioneer community with the common goal of supporting our hockey team as they took on Boston University. Whether hockey aficionados or not, this diverse group of people came out to Magness arena repping their Pio Pride and cheered for DU.

And ultimately contributed to the end result of a 3-1 win! But more than that they helped create the amazing sporting atmosphere with energy in the air, where I'm sure the home team felt supported.
